Remote Advocate Support Services:

Safe. Secure. Confidential

We understand that experiencing domestic or sexual violence can be isolating and coming forward can be difficult. That’s why our organization offers access to a live advocate through a secure online platform.

What is remote advocacy?
You connect with your advocate from the comfort and privacy of your own home or any safe location with an internet connection. Video calls are secure and confidential, ensuring your safety and privacy are our top priority. You can choose to have your video on or off during a meeting with an advocate.

How does an advocate help?

Our advocates can provide a variety of services during your video call, including:

  • Safety Planning: Develop a personalized plan to keep yourself and your loved ones safe.
  • Emotional Support: Talk through what you’re experiencing in a non-judgmental space.
  • Information and Referrals: Learn about your legal options, support groups, and other resources available to you.
  • Remote Advocacy Services: We can virtually accompany you to appointments or court hearings (where applicable by law).
