Community Advocate 1 (Full-Time, Colby)
The Community Advocate 1 supports victims and survivors in their recovery from trauma and works closely with clients to create their own plans for independence. Community Advocate 1 carries out the goals of the Victim Services Outreach Project and works mostly with the rural community out of the Colby office.

Family Advocate (Full-Time, Hays)
The role of the Family Advocate is to address the complex needs of children and families who are exposed to domestic or sexual violence. This position requires a deep understanding of trauma-informed care and child development, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with other professionals to create safe and supportive environments. The Family Advocate contributes to the well-being of individual families, especially children, and advances Options’ broader mission of creating a community where being cared for is a fundamental right for all.

Community Advocate 3 (Mobile Advocate) (Full-Time, Hays)
The Community Advocate 3 supports victims and survivors in their recovery from trauma and works closely with clients to
create their own plans for independence. Community Advocate 3 carries out the goals of the Victim Services Outreach
Project and Mobile Advocacy Initiative, working mostly with the rural community. This position is based out of the Hays
office and travels regularly to the eastern eight counties of our service area.

Overnight Shelter Advocate (Full-Time)
The Overnight Shelter Advocate supports victims and survivors in their recovery from trauma and works closely with clients to create their own plans for independence. The Overnight Shelter Advocate carries out the goals of the Shelter Services program and specializes in providing day-to-day care and overnight crisis intervention, working mostly with individuals and families in the safe shelter house.

Rural Advocate (Full-Time, Colby)
The Rural Advocate, based in Colby, supports victims and survivors in their recovery from trauma and works closely with clients to create their own plans for independence. The Rural Advocate helps support the Campus Awareness, Prevention, and Services Project and the Mobile Advocate Initiative in the western nine counties of Options’ service delivery area (SDA), traveling regularly to satellite locations.

Weekend Shelter Advocate (Part-Time)

The Weekend Shelter Advocate carries out the goals of the Shelter Services program and specializes in providing day-to-day care and off-hours crisis intervention, working mostly with individuals and families in the safe shelter house.
