What Were You Wearing exhibit at Stockton Public Library
April 2 - April 28
Join us for the “What Were You Wearing?” exhibit at the Stockton Public Library. This powerful installation challenges common myths about sexual assault by displaying narratives from survivors alongside recreated outfits based on their experiences.
The exhibit is designed to spark conversation, increase awareness, and reinforce the message that clothing does not cause assault—perpetrators do. Students, faculty, staff, and community members are encouraged to attend, reflect, and engage in meaningful dialogue about prevention and support.
Exhibit is open during library operating hours. Advocates are available 24/7 by calling 800-794-4624 or by texting HOPE to 847411.
