Pattern Changing Classes

Classes focus on the survivor and their own power to change the course of their life. The goal is for survivors to begin to understand the problem of abuse and its realities for the entire family, to become aware of their lifelong patterns, to set realistic goals, and to learn techniques for developing new patterns of their own choosing. Child care is provided and transportation assistance may be available. Class schedules vary – please contact us for information about specific dates, times, and locations.

Conscious Discipline Classes

Classes focus on helping protective parents regain their confidence and skills that are often stripped away or undermined by abusers, through a practical and evidence-based format. Child care is provided and transportation assistance may be available. Class schedules vary – please contact us for information about specific dates, times, and locations.

Emergency Financial Assistance

Financial support to assist direct victims and survivors meet financial challenges that arise as a result of domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. Services may include support to replace locks and other issues needed for safety, utility crisis, relocation assistance, transportation assistance, and housing assistance. Some types of assistance have an application process – please contact our office to make an appointment to learn if you qualify for certain types of emergency financial assistance.

Financial Literacy Classes

Classes assist survivors of domestic violence to regain their financial independence after leaving a relationship that is abusive, and assistance in planning for financial safety for survivors who are still in relationships that are abusive. Classes are held in a group setting with a community of other survivors. Class schedules vary – please contact us for information about specific dates, times, and locations.
